Died of Lou Gehrigs disease
Lori Merideth

I received your 20 year high school reunion postcard for my mother, Laura (Lori) Ann Merideth.  My mother passed away December 28, 2003 from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.  She was a very loving and dedicated friend and mother, and I am positive she would have been a great grandmother to my sisters child Faye.  She got married after high school to a man named Scott Giles, and together they raised 3 children.  My name is Christopher Scot Giles, I'm the oldest of us three at 21 years old and am currently enrolled at the University of Texas at San Antonio.  My younger sisters Ashley Nicole Giles, 18, and Olivia Frances Giles, 14 are attending a local HS here in San Anotonio.
My mother and father moved to San Antonio, in 1992 for job purposes.  She continued her education and received her degree in Radiology, she was also a certified nurse. Throughout the years she did extensive work in the medical field in ranging from psychiatry, radiology, and orthopedics.
She achieved many of her goals in life such as raising healthy children, having a successful career, and even getting the motorcycle of her dreams.  I attached a few pictures of my mother and of my siblings and me.  She wanted me to take her to this reunion a year ago, so I felt I owed it to her to let people know a little bit about her.
